In 2010, Northwest Center was approached by an old friend, Dan Gerarden. Dan has a history with Northwest Center - over 20 years ago Dan's brother David was a student at  the Northwest Center preschool. From his brother's   experiences Dan knew the barriers and challenges facing children and adults with disabilities, and the need for secure, long term funding to continue to provide the services Northwest Center offers.
